“One” by Castle Theater
About the song: “Harry Nilsson’s music has been a huge inspiration to me for a long time; this song, in particular, had an immense effect on me. While I adore some of the bigger versions of it (Aimee Mann’s, in particular), I chose to pull back and approach it in a simple, quiet way. I played all of the instruments and recorded it myself down in the basement. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for listening.” — Castle Theater
“The Right Way” by Scott Fisher
About the artist: Los Angeles-based producer and singer-songwriter Scott Fisher has shared “The Right Way,” the first single to be released from his forthcoming album 93 Million Miles, out October 26th via 1 A.M. “Dona Nobis Pacem” by Arn-Identified Flying Objects And Alien Friends x Redmoon
About the song: “I wrote this song in 2019. There are biblical references but the lyrics are really about our own troubled times, with the iconic picture of the newborn child as a backdrop. The song reaches its climax in the coda, with the introduction of the children’s choir and the soaring guitar solo (wonderfully played by Daniel Lagerlöf). The song was originally recorded and released by my former band Redmoon.” — Arn-Identified Flying Objects And Alien Friends
