It’s April and we have less than 60 days till the annual Eurovision contest that will happen next month. Get excited! Though the contest was canceled last year and faces strict protocols due to the current pandemic, we can still enjoy this international contest from anywhere in the world.
Each day, I will feature a song from one of the countries that is in this year’s Eurovision. Like 2019, I will make my own predictions of who will make it to the finals and maybe win the compeition. Good luck to those are competing!
Albina’s “Tick Tock”
Croatian pop singer Albina is representing Croatia in this year’s Eurovision with the song “Tick-Tock”. An addictive pop-dance that has a catchy beat an hooks, it might remind listeners of the Kylie Minogue 2001 song “Can’t Get You Out of My Head”. Albina shows off her talented voice with a wide vocal range, going from the the sultry low notes to sky high ones in a matters of seconds. It is safe to stay that with it’s addictive nature and Albina’s mesmerizing voices that “Tick-Tock” will make it to the finals.
