The Daily Feature: Meet South Africa’s Buzzing Pop Artist BINX

Meet BINX, an Avant-Garde Pop musician/model from South Africa. She is a beautiful “African Bee” with a sting ready to swell up pop music.BINX has had a number one single in her home country. She also has performed at The US Open, The New York Marathon, and The South African Traditional Music Awards. Her music has been heard all over from TV shows to radio stations from all around the world. The artist is helping to save the bees with her latest album, Buzzed.

The South African artist is no stranger to ai love music as her Christmas single “Christmas In Summer – Acoustic” was featured last month. It was described as a sweet Christmas tune with its honeyed vocals and crystalized synth riffs. Another song, “Don’t Wreck A Good Thing” with Mada Atoms and Adam & The Bee, has been featured on this blog recently.

For today’s post, four diverse yet infectious pop songs by BINX are featured on ai love music: “Shock Waves”, “Call Me On The Phone In The Other Room”, “Sea Salt”, and “How Do You Like Your Eggs?”. Though they have a different pop sound, each song features BINX’s infectious melodic vocals and catchy pop melodies. Each song has its unique lyrical themes: “Call Me On The Phone In The Other Room” deals with mental health, “Shock Waves” talks about digital dating, and the idea behind “Sea Salt” came from a sea salt face mask.

BINX’s musicality draws comparisons to those of Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, and Dua Lipa. Yet, it is the Southern African uniqueness with her memorizing vocals and distinctive stage presence with her bumblebee costume that sets her apart. She is an artist to look out for in 2022!
