Argentinian Musician Cielo Pordomingo Talks Her About Latest Release and Reflects on Her Music

I recently talked to Cielo Pordomingo, a musician from Argentina, about her newest release as well as her musicality. This was my first time conducting a live interview, so I was a bit nervous and anxious about how it would turn out. Initially, it was supposed to be a video interview, but I could only capture the audio.
Take a listen below the cut!

"We're Alright" in Getting Over Those Roadblocks in Our Lives — How Do You Overcome Them?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
October has been a rollercoaster for me! This weekend, I caught a terrible cold that had me bedridden for a couple of days. I am just coming back “online”, aka back to normal, after spending pretty much four days sleeping and fighting a head cold.
I have meant to write about today’s artist for a while now. This artist has recently released two new songs within the past three months, with the current released about two weeks ago.  As a singer-songwriter, Jeremy Hoekstra has a beautiful talent for blending the sounds from different musical genres into his songs.
I had the privilege to review his latest release “We’re Alright”. This song’s message is very relatable to our lives. How so? Find out behind the cut!

(Disclaimer: This post is not an affiliation post. It’s just me talking about an app I like.)
It’s the afternoon. You glance at the clock and groan: It’s only 2 pm. You have three more hours till you clock out from your daily 9-5 job. But, you are tired from that after-lunch fatigue. You ponder, should you eat sweets (the sugar can energize you) or make a cup of coffee? Although these choices sound like a nice idea, they might not be the best one.
Image and video hosting by TinyPicI have recently been using an app called The Fabulous. I have been using it for two weeks already and enjoy it so far. Fabulous is designed for the user to do a variety of goals during the day. From the moment when you wake up to the second before you drift into dreamland, there is some sort of activity that you have to do. Doing these activities will help create a better you. Some of the tasks are drinking water and eating healthy yet meaningful meals. One of the actions is exercising throughout the day. This is something I think that I’m not good at. I cannot run (I hate running actually) and I don’t have room in my tiny apartment for big equipment.
I was in a pickle: What would be the right exercise for me?

The Soothing Sound of "Sekai no Yakusoku" Will Calm Down Your Busy Day

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
My nine-day “staycation” started last Friday at 6 pm. Many around Japan went overseas, did various activities around the country, or visited loved ones. Yet, I decided to do a “staycation”. Yes, it seems boring: me staying inside my apartment and surroundings for about a week. But, I love it since I could stay in bed for long periods of time, read various materials, be minimalistic, and deep clean.
That Friday, I pondered on what should I do on the first night of freedom: Should I do something or go to bed early so I could start my vacation off right by waking extra early on Saturday? Continuing to think about, I checked the TV Guide to see what was going to be the movie of the night. And by chance, it was going to be one of my favorites.
