The Daily Feature: The Intoxicating Lure Featured in “Black and Blue” by PAGES.

Today’s Daily Feature is “Black and Blue” by Scottish Pop Rock band PAGES. The tune was written with the vision of a sleazy strip club that you’d never be proud of entering in mind. You can hear this in the edginess features in the overall vibe. Although there might be a glimmer of brightness in the chorus, the overall vibe of “Black and Blue” is dark. The electric guitar pioneers this sound with its harsh riffs. Yet, this dark vibe is actually appealing as its allures listeners with an intoxicating soundscape.

Along with the edgy vocals, the mesmerizing synth riffs are things that listeners have to also listen for in PAGES.’s new single. Especially at the chorus! It is truly beautiful yet haunting with that vivid and thick synth riffs mixed in with airy vocals. The chorus is such a wonderful contrast from the verses: thick synth riffs compared to the harsh guitar riffs.

If you are looking for a great pop-rock song with an intoxicating dark landscape and thick synth riffs, then you have to check out “Black and Blue” by PAGES.

I had never heard of the Band or song. It does have a dark vibe, and reminds me of the sleezy nightclubs you see on Television

This song is another one that gives me movie vibes. It’s a vibe though if you’re in the mood for this type of music.
