The Daily Feature: Sozinn’s “Running From Her Love” Packs a Musically Punch That Cannot Be Missed!

Today’s Daily Feature is “Running From Her Love” by Portuguese Alternative Indie R&B/Electropop artist Sozinn. It was recently released ahead of the artist’s upcoming debut EP Siddhārtha Gautama. The lyrics detail a premise where the song’s character is running from somebody’s love. It details a relationship with a girl whom the character would make everything to please. But eventually, the girl breaks the character’s heart.

It’s an explosive pop song with emotions burst from the instrumentation and vocals. The chorus clearly demonstrates this with its powerful staccato rhythm. The rap in the break packs a punch with their honest and punchy words. The sound is wrapped in a dark soundscape that elevates the emotions in the smooth vocals. About the Artist: Sozinn

Sozinn, whose civil name is Pedro Soares, is a 19-year-old artist from Oliveira de Azeméis, Portugal. From an early age, he realized that music was his passion, having started with the guitar, saxophone, piano, and writing. Thus, he released his first track in 2019, “Angel”. It was, almost, a farewell letter written to his grandfather. Still, in 2019, he launched “Waiting” and then “Far away” in 2020. It is with the release of #Far away” that he joined the label Bewave Records, where he made his major debut with the single “Molly” in partnership with Nvndez.
