Wednesday is always a time to celebrate! It is hump day! Two more days until the weekend, time to celebrate! I am starting a new series where I present ten songs that will help you celebrate your Hump Day and make your week more awesome!

Slick beats, that give off an almost R&B glare, and mixed with indie-electronic instrumentation to bring this cool track. Listeners should not miss the killer guitar solo during the break as it is an interesting knife that cuts into the song, changing up the flavor of the track in the most intriguing ways.

Danish/Scottish rock band Gatsby is blazing right on by with their new track “Damned if you do”. This track features robust rock instrumentation that plays with a blazing vocal line. It is the instrumentation that makes this track worthwhile with its big rock sound. It is the chorus that listeners have to listen to with catchy riffs. It will have listeners singing along in time with the line “Damned if you do, “Damned if you don’t, damn, damn.”

“Blood 4 Blood” by Taylor Six

Cuban alt-rock artist Taylor Six sings about his friend’s bad experience in his new song “Blood 4 Blood”. “One night she was walking home when out of nowhere some random guy try to assault her, she fought back and managed to escape but she got badly injured,” he says about the premise of the track. “Blood 4 Blood” is an explosive rock track with harsh guitar sounds blazing throughout the track. It is followed by Taylor Six’s big vocals that are explosive and filled with energy. This track is a truly hot rock track with its explosive sounds and expansive, emotive soundscape.

“I Love Country Music (More Than I Ever Loved You)” by Nickola Magnolia

Canadian Country artist Nickola Magnolia offers a glimpse into her own life with the release of her newest single “I Love Country Music (More Than I Ever Loved You)”. It features the artist’s honesty is shown in the lyrics with such strong details surrounding loss and heartache. A strong country track that features Magnolia’s robust vocals and a theme of self-preservation, “I Love Country Music (More Than I Ever Loved You)” is an enjoyable country track with vigorous vocals. If you are a fan of Shania Twain, Joni Mitchell, and/or Dolly Parton, then you have to listen to this song today!
