It is a beautiful tune nestled in warm acoustic soundscapes with many sounds and textures. If you are a fan of Michael Bublé, Ed Sheeran, and Lewis Capaldi, then you will like “I Am Awake”.

“Take The Time; Smell The Roses” by Geno Marriott

Jazz musician Geno Marriott tells a story that people can relate to in “Take The Time; Smell The Roses”. By using each solo, each phrase, and each release, Marriott is able to compose a simple yet important message: enjoy the little things in life. This instrumental piece features the musician’s unique performance style with warm, soothing melodies. Don’t forget to listen for those soulful vocals in the chorus as they add another delicious layer to the track.

“All I Need” by Anindya Mukherjee

Feel good this week with the positive-changed “All I Need” by Anindya Mukherjee. It is a song that details the yearning of someone. Listeners can hear the classic rock influences in the nostalgic arrangements and melodies. The song also features a strong rhythm section comprising horns, guitars, and drums. It is a song that listeners can relate to both musically and lyrically. A really awesome rock tune!

“Tomorrow” by Emma Noren

American Indie rock details her breakup from a band and a relationship in her newest single “Tomorrow”. ” I needed to move on from the relationships I was in even though it seemed impossible at the time. I’m not someone who makes big moves usually” Noren pens a song that is full of heartfelt emotions as she doesn’t hold anything back in this letter to ended relationships. The artist’s warm and vibrant vocals are layered over mid-tempo acoustic instrumentation to create an intimate setting. A wonderful listen!

“Memento Mori” by 808DNA

Check out the influences of rockier, vaporwave, and hip-hop blended in “Memento Mori” by 808DNA. The lyrics are observational explorations of co-dependent relationships and self-medicated emotions. These deep thoughts are explored in melodies and instrumentation that are tense yet melodic. Just listen to that chorus with those catchy riffs!

“Heartbreak & Hope” by Zach Churchill

American singer-songwriter Zach Churchill explores the feelings of loss with “Heartbreak & Hope”. An intimate track that is filled with personal touches, “Heartbreak & Hope” is a song that will move people. The lyrics are one thing that will move listeners with their relatable content about loss. But also the soothing acoustic melodies that are crafted in melodic clusters with a slow build-up that pulls heartstrings. Such an important as many of us have experienced loss.

“Hold On Me” by Jesse Roper

“At the time, I was in and out of a relationship with the same girl I’m always in and out of a relationship with and I decided the song would be about her. She did, after all, have a hold on me. Lyrics spewed forth and I had no trouble coming up with more than I needed. It was kind of a relief, as most of the time, I have to wrestle keeper lyrics out of myself. Anyway, I whipped up a quick cell phone demo and sent it to my manager. His response was exactly what I was hoping for!”

Enjoy a slice of the retro-soul with “Hold On Me” by Jesse Roper. If you are a fan of retro-soul from the present and past, then you have to listen as there is a lot of nostalgic musicality featured. But don’t forget to listen for Roper as his dynamic vocals are full of range that makes this song into a bop! This song is literally on fire with its nostalgic feels, great melodies, and dynamic vocals!

“Let it Go” by Nick Andres

Enjoy this seductive and mysterious track by American Synthwave artist Nick Andres. This track features dark synth riffs that reach depths that give chills (in a good way). These riffs are joined by airy vocals from Nashville-based BILETSKA. It is a slick synthwave tune with chilled vibes that is perfect to listen to anywhere!

“Foul Play” by Tina Rix

Check out Tina Rix’s rich melodic adventure in her latest single “Foul Play”. It is a tune that features laid-back but catchy moods and sounds found in Afrobeat music. Yet, the main star is Tina Rex’s vocals as they are melodic and vibrant. They are the story-telling as they sing the lyrics with their rich vocals, pulling the listeners through the song with their captive dating tones. Of course, don’t miss out on the catchy dance beat featured in the song that will have listeners dancing along!

“Show me” by INNOMUNO

Retro Soul artist INNOMUNO brings a soulful telling of the old saying “Actions speakers louder than words”. The artist had this to say about “Show me”: “It’s pretty much about how words cannot sum up love. You need to show it in your actions.”. “Show me” features a soulful soundscape wrapped in ear-pleasing melodies. The icing on the cake is INNOMUNO’s dreamy vocals that are mixed in with a pinch of soul! This track is a hit for sure!
