“Don’t Ya Treat Me Bad” by ROCK N ROLL ARMY
The Army of Rock’n’Roll has a song that has a little bit of everything. Rockability, classic rock, boogie-woogie, and heavy metal. If you are a fan of 80s hair metal or hard rock bands like Def Leppard, Whitesnake, or Guns N’ Roses, then you have to listen to “ROCK N ROLL ARMY”. It has those classic rock sounds that you heard in the 80s. I just love the song’s sound!
“Gold Void (Freestyle)” by Silé
“Gold Void (Freestyle)” by Silé seems like a very simple song with basic instrumentation, but you have to listen to a bit deeper to find its beauty. Layered on top of thick synthesized chords, the vocals are the true star of the song. The mellow yet sweet melodies provided Silé carves the song’s path. Honesty and bare emotions seep from each note as Silé displays a sincere performance. Such a brilliant use of emotions in a freestyle space.
“Living In The City” by Steve MacDream Colours
“Living In The City” will bring any listener back to the 80s rock landscape. You can hear bits and pieces inside the track that was influenced by such iconic artists as Flock of Seagulls, Big Country, and Duran Duran. Yet, Steve MacDream Colours brings a unique twist to the classic sound featured “Living In The City”. He adds a bit of his own intriguing melodic compositions, superb harmonies, and interesting choices with instrumentation (not that I am complaining, the saxophone adds a very nice texture to the song). “Living In The City” is a blend of something new and old that any type of listener from any decade will enjoy!
“Run with Scissors” by Dan Kiernan
Dan Kiernan’s newest single is about saying “fuck it” and following your gut feeling in relationships and in life. Always follow your heart. “I wrote this song about falling in love with a friend but being too scared to tell them.” The tune is an uplifting pop euphoria, filled with uptempo beats and vivid synthesized melodies. It is the perfect tune to start your day as it energizes with the dazzling instrumentation and inspires with the lyrics.
“DFP” by A Very Special Episode
“DFP” is the first single off the upcoming single by the American alt-rock band A Very Special Episode. It is a track that features a pretty soothing rock beat with mellow guitar strummings. It also features female vocals that are filled with lots of emotions but keep them at bay with the usage of soft tones. But, by the break, the song’s emotional dam as the singer unleashes a variety of emotions as her vocals get louder and louder. The same goes for the guitar as they become wilder with each beat. The progression from soft emotions to loud emotions is something to listen for!
“Gloria” by Allan Corby
Allan Corby is back with a mostly instrumental piece called “Gloria”. The tune features upbeat acoustic guitar that strums lovely, fun melodies. Corby weaves his vocals in and out of the tune by singing alluring “Gloria”s. Corby’s newest track is a fun listen as it is fun, upbeat, and just features beautiful acoustic guitar strumming!
“All Night” by KO
American Contemporary R&B artist KO has released his newest single, entitled “All Night”, to celebrate his newest love. A tune that features an uptempo R&B tempo, it is also smooth and mellow with its funky synthezied melodies that have cool vocals layered on top. “All Night” is the perfect song to just listen to anywhere, especially at night, becaue it features suave melodies and chilled vocals.
“Corde Sensible” by Nell Widmer
Need a song to dance the Wendesday blues off? Then you have to listen to “Corde Sensible” by French electropop artist Nell Widmer. It is an exquistite tune for the club as it features catchy sythenized vocals, engaging melodic lines, and distinctive harmonies. Some listeners could find this song a bit weird on how the artist perofrms the song. But, the oddness is the positive point of “Corde Sensible” as catchy and makes the listener want more and more. You have to check out the unhinged musicality!
“Are You Ready for It?” by Bad Mondays
American Alt Rock band Bad Mondays just released the intense single “Are You Ready for It?”. This tune features a mixture of lo-fi electro beats, reverberating electric guitars, and punched-up drums. Listeners can hear traces of experimental underground sounds sprinkled in the song. On top of the vocals, there is a powerful voice that takes the stage with each delivered rap flow. These punchy and confident vocals then sing the chorus with such much energy, filling each line with memorible hooks. It is such a great song to listen to!
“Fool Around” by Mundo Park
“All do it for love” is the motto of Dutch alt rock band Mundo Park’s latest single “Fool Around”. “When we FOOL AROUND, we fool the night.” This DIY rock track is such a pleasent listen with its ear-pleasing melodies and an interesting blend of instrumentation. The dynamics between each part of “Fool Around” changes as one moment you have soft then you have loud and fuill of energy. It is quite exhilarating! Listeners have to epecially check out the chorus as there is a lot of energy present!
