The Mid-Week Pickup for October 27, 2021

“Paper Thin” by Rubber LeBaron

Rubber LeBaron’s newest single is a must-listen that you should not pass out. This mellow rock tune deals with the feelings of anxiety and being paranoid. Don’t forget to listen to the very end as the song explodes in sound as the feelings swell and the instruments (with vocals) play a bigger part). “Paper Thin” is a delicious rock tune with cool vocals, groovy melodies, and a mixture of chilled and explosive vibes. I love this song so much!

“Monica” by Sam George

Canadian rock artist Sam George presents a vintage vibe with his newest single “Monica”. If you are a big fan of 60’s rock artists like The Beatles or The Monkees, then you have to check “Monica” out. This indie rock-pop song has a feel-good, upbeat vibe throughout the tune. The vocals drive the song with their big energy. Sam George’s brings a delightful mixture of vintage and modern to the listener’s ears.

“Infinity” by Conversing with Oceans

American alt-rock band Conversing with Ocean’s newest single is all about perseverance and staying the course despite life’s storms. It was written at the time when the band’s van was destroyed during a recent hurricane. The tune is enjoyable as it features just the right amount of energy. The vocals and the instrumentation have the right mixture of melodious and pacifying vibes. “Infinity” is the perfect song to listen to anywhere at any time of the day.

“If You Wanna Leave” by The Honest Heart Collective

According to the band, the song “dances between feelings of home, the comfort of loved ones, and discovering independence.” Honest Heart Collective’s newest single is set ablaze with its electrifying rock sounds, dirt-stained indie vibes, and revivalist emo moods. The song features a mixture of something new and old, entertaining audiences of any age. “If You Wanna Leave” captivates audiences with its unique blend of different genres with its own shapes and sounds. A thrilling listen!

“In My Dream” by Agito Maruyama ft. Coco Valentine

“In My Dream” is a slick electropop tune that will have listeners dancing in no time. The song features Coco Valentine’s melodious vocals over futuristic deep bass instrumentation. It’s the melody that attracts listeners with the smooth vocal lines and upbeat tempos. Gotta check this one out!

The song features a mixture of blues-fueled, psychedelic, and 70’s era rock. It is pretty astounding! You have to check out the groovy guitar solos during the breaks, especially when it uses the vocoder effects. It’s a really awesome listen!

“The Limit” by Color Theory

If you are a fan of 80s acts like Depeche Mode, The Cure, and Baths, then you have to check out “The Limit” by Color Theory. The tune features a type of sound that the artist calls “melancholy synthwave”: deep synth lines, dark moods, and emotional lyrics. The instrumentation does feature some gloomy moods, but it also features an array of colorful synth notes throughout “The Limit”. Listeners will fall in love with the melodic feel of the song while being transported back to the 80s with its vintage feel.

“Welcome to the party!” Qwiet Type’s newest single is tunes that blaze addictive melodies. But, it cools down with relaxed, euphoric melodies. Qwiet Type hopes that with the addictive melodies, dynamic arrangements, and optimistic lyrics featured in “Uninvited”, listeners will have a good time.
